Inside the Shark will form a naturally growing archive, accumulating historical and site-specific information about the Basking Shark, its natural environment and its industrial uses. The project ‘to Wander to Drift, the Basking Shark as Living Oil Rig’ has been initiated by visual artist/artistic researcher Miriam Sentler (DE/NL) and writer/researcher Sadie Hale (UK/NL). It investigates the natural and historical uses of shark oil, ranging from a cure against infertility to COVID-19 vaccine. Watch this water!
